Firstly, thank you for considering joining my RacingGav Discord server!

I have built this server for many reasons. The main one that most of you will be aware of and that you are likely looking at joining this server for, is access to my horse racing tips. However, there is a whole range of elements I want to cover under this server, as explained below: -

• Tips – As touched upon above, most of you will simply be here for my tips. I have set up a dedicated channel for these. In this channel, you will very simply get my tips i.e. the racecourse, time, horse, price and advised stake. Therefore, if you simply want to place the bets I’m advising quickly and move on with your day, then this is the channel for you. No extravagance, just the tips.
• Reasoning – Arguably, I’m just as well known (and I hope liked!) for my lengthy reasoning behind my bets. When you follow a tip of mine, you can do so in the confidence that a lot of time and effort has gone into the tip, there is significant logic behind the tip and also that I will be backing it too! This channel is where you will find the detailed reasoning behind every selection. There will be a multitude of reasons that you will want reasoning before parting with your hard-earned money. Some will want to understand the reasoning behind it to see if they agree with my logic, some find it very useful in terms of furthering their personal knowledge and some probably use it to send them to sleep ha! Regardless of why you want the reasoning, the Reasoning channel is where you will find it. For ease, I will also include the above information under the tips channel in here too. So that those who want the reasoning are not having to flick through both channels in order to place their bet.
• Daily Thoughts – Over my time on X/Twitter, I have often put out my thoughts on the day’s racing. For this, I’m talking about races where I do not have any tips (as they will be in the above two channels if I do). These thoughts may be able to help you place your own bets, avoid horses that I do not rate or perhaps just help you understand how I am assessing the races to further your personal knowledge once again. For example, in here I may mention horses that I would be happy to back but that have no value in their price. If this horse then drifts to a price with more value, it may then become a bet. As a general rule, I will not put out a tip within one hour of a race as it is unfair on those who cannot get on that quickly and subsequently doesn’t represent true results that everybody would experience. Another example would be horses that I would avoid backing and I’d give you the reasoning as to why. There could even be horses that are on my radar/in my tracker that I am interested in but perhaps with a view to their next race or a bigger target later in the season rather than on the day itself. These thoughts have typically been well received on X/Twitter and therefore I wanted to dedicate a channel to these on this Discord server.
• Education – Whilst I’m not claiming to be the most knowledgeable person on the planet when it comes to the sport of horse racing or the art of gambling, I would certainly argue that I have far above average knowledge. As a result, I have often received messages asking me a whole range of questions across both topics. In this channel, I will cover some of the most basic topics/most frequently asked questions. For example, this could be something as straightforward as how to gamble using a point system. Whilst this will be second nature to a more seasoned punter, those just getting into gambling need to learn these basic principles and this server is for punters of all levels. This channel could also cover other topics such as how to pick out winners, how to use a tracker, how to gamble on the Betfair Exchange or even topics such as what the various headgear on horses actually means, what it does for them and so on. I have some topics in mind as to what I want to cover on this channel and by the time you are reading this, I may well have already. However, if you ever have anything you want me to cover/help you with, that has not already been covered, please direct message me and I can either help you personally or put together a piece for everybody under this channel. Ultimately, this channel is here to level up everybody as horse racing fans/punters.
• Antepost – As the name suggests on this one, this channel is all about Antepost betting. Therefore, under this channel I will be providing insights/previews/thoughts on races in advance. This will range from specific horses for specific races, such as one that has caught my eye in say October for the Grand National in April for example, all the way through to in-depth race by race previews for the larger festivals. Obviously, the Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle for many racing fans and for something like that, I could provide my thoughts on all 28 races in a huge preview piece. This would cover elements such as what horses I think are overpriced and value as well as horses that are underpriced or that I would just generally avoid at any price. If I settle on a specific bet to be placed, I will put them in the tips and reasoning channels respectively but there will be a whole lot more in-depth content within this channel.
• Daily Results – Each day that I have tipped horses, I will provide the results of those races in this channel both in terms of their finishing positions but also what we staked, returned and whether we made any profit/loss that day. For those that are busy, they can simply glance at this channel to see how we got on that day.
• Monthly Results – Each month, I will be recording all of my results and they will be provided to you at the end of each month in this channel. This will allow you to assess the long-term results/profitability of my tips. Gambling is a long-term game, so this is the best place to see the “real” results. There will be quiet patches/losing streaks and likewise there will be purple patches/winning streaks. However, over time you should see a continued growth in the profit that this server generates and that is the key.
• Members NAPS – This channel is the first of five where you can get involved! This channel will allow you to post one message per day. This message should be your NAP (your best bet of the day); if you have one. All of the other members on the server and I will be able to see what you put up for the day. Pretty quickly, the community will be able to work out who should and who shouldn’t be listened to ha!
• Members Tips – This is very much the same as the Members NAPS channel. However, rather than being limited to just your best bet, this will allow you to post more than one bet per day. If you had say five horses you were backing, you could share them in this channel. Once again, this is limited to one message per day, so please ensure you put them all into one message as you won’t be able to send any further messages after that first one.
• Members Chat – This is where the true “community” side of the server is found. In this channel everybody can message whenever they wish. Here you can message with the rest of the server about all things racing, whether that be discussing races as they unfold, the results of races or even talking about wider topics. This channel is effectively one huge group chat, as a result, it may be carnage and relentless at times, so it may be best to mute this one and just jump into it as and when you wish to get involved/see what is being said. This channel will hopefully be great for everybody but it could be massive for those who do not have friends or family that enjoy racing and that can often feel isolated as a result. Here you will find lots of other likeminded individuals and could even make life long friends.
• Winning Slips – If you have won money on the racing, whether that be from my tips, somebody else’s on here or even if it was your own selections, then share your joy in here! Whether it is £5 or £5,000, share your winning slips with the rest of the server and we then get to see and enjoy everybody’s successes. Who doesn’t love to see someone pulling the bookmakers pants down eh!
• Members Questions – This is a channel where you can ask questions and I can either answer them directly in the channel, message you privately regarding them or even use the questions to add a piece to the Education channel. Of course, my DMs are always open both on this Discord platform and also on X/Twitter, especially for more sensitive/personal questions but feel free to ask any questions you have in here too.
