We’re excited to announce we’ve made some big updates to our signup pages, improving ease-of-use and edit page flexibility for LaunchPass users. Here are the highlights:

  • Edit fields on your signup page without having to publish a new page (Note: Role to assign cannot be edited if you have active subscribers)

  • Select an existing channel from your server as your welcome channel (Discord)

  • Select a role to assign from your existing server roles (Discord)

  • Select existing private channels to sell access to (Slack)

  • New fields for business name, offer name, offer URL

Super Flexible Edit Page Functionality

LaunchPass users now have way more flexibility to edit signup page settings at any point after they have published their pages. You can now edit and make changes to the following fields without affecting your existing community members:

  • Change the welcome channel members are directed to upon signing up

  • Change billing frequency and currency

  • Edit your business name, offer name, and offer URL (new fields, more on this below)

These are in addition to the settings that were already editable. The end result is that you can now edit virtually anything on your signup pages without having to create a new page.

Seamless Connection to Your Existing Server

Welcome Channel (Discord)

Select an existing channel from your Discord server to set as your welcome channel

LaunchPass users have the ability to send people to an existing channel within their server as their welcome channel, where all your welcome instructions can live. If you have multiple signup pages, you can send all users to the same welcome channel on your server – no need to have multiple welcome channels in your server.

You can still create a new channel in this field by typing in a new channel name. We will create a new public channel automatically, post activation instructions in this channel, and make it so everyone can see the channel but not send messages in it.

Role to Assign (Discord)

Select as existing role within your server to assign to subscribers on signup

Want to use existing roles within your server for your paid Discord community? We’ve made it super easy. You can now select an existing role from your Discord server to assign when people sign up for your group.

When you create a new signup page, all of the roles that are available inside of your server will be automatically populated and available in the dropdown so that you don't have to think about trying to link anything – simply select the role and you’re set.

Note: If you have active subscribers on your published signup page, you will not be able to edit the “Role to assign” field.

You can still create a new role to assign in this field by typing in a new role name.

Name Your Channels (Slack)

Select existing private channels from your Slack community to sell access to

LaunchPass users with paid Slack communities can now select up to 50 existing private channels to sell access to. Please note you cannot link to existing public channels.

You can still create a new channel in this field by typing in the new channel name. We will create a private channel on your behalf.

Independent Business Name, Offer Name, and Offer URL Fields

By popular request, LaunchPass users now have the ability to have separate, independent fields for Business Name, Offer Name, and Offer URL. This provides additional flexibility and customization to keep your signup page better organized and easier to manage.

Business Name

Add your business name and display it on your signup page. This field can be edited at any time.

Offer Name

Include your specific offer name to display on your signup page. This field can be edited at any time.

Offer URL

You can now update your signup page URL at any time. Updating the “Offer URL” field will automatically update your signup page URL.

If you have any questions about these updates, or you would like some help setting them up on your signup pages, please contact our support team or book a meeting with our Configuration Experts.
