With the Mentorship Plan you'll get access to a private Slack organization where App Academy instructors are available to answer technical questions specifically about the Open curriculum. You will not have a specific instructor assigned to assist you. Instructors monitor the Slack channels for questions and answer them in the channels as they are posted. Instructors will be available Mon-Fri between 6am-6pm (PST), except for holidays.

All communication with instructors via this plan will be text based and not over video or audio. Please be advised that we do our best to be as responsive as possible, but you may have to wait for an instructor's response depending on the volume of questions posted each day as instructors work to help each person. Each question asked has varying lengths of time required to answer them, and so please be courteous and patient with our instructors.

Please note, this service is specifically for use with the curriculum on App Academy Open and instructors will not provide answers to questions related to our Admissions assessments.

You may cancel at any time. App Academy will automatically charge the membership fee (currently $29.99) to your payment method on a monthly basis until you cancel. There are no refunds or credits for partial months.
