We're setting up an industry body for web. It's still very much a work in progress but we're committed to doing this in the open and we welcome your input.

Our draft manifesto:

• Represent the interests of our members
• Aspiring to consultative status with the governments
• Prepare and provide informed policy response in a crisis
• Be the informed and independent voice of the web community in media and politics
